En una entrevista de la revista “Christianity Today” realizada en 2012, Ed Stetzer reveló que, según una investigación de LifeWay entre adultos jóvenes que habían concurrido regularmente a la iglesia durante al menos un año en la escuela secundaria, el 70% dejó de concurrir regularmente durante al menos un año entre los 18 y 22 años de edad. Sin embargo, el 35% había vuelto a concurrir dos veces al mes o más para cuando fueron encuestados en el estudio. Eso significa que aproximadamente 4 de cada 10 jóvenes se van de la iglesia y NUNCA REGRESAN.
