QUIÉNES SOMOS

Reconocemos que la iglesia del Dios vivo es columna y baluarte de la verdad  (1ª a Timoteo 3:15), por esta razón la Iglesia Bautista de North Bergen, Nueva Jersey (EUA), por más de 25 años, ha invertido recursos sustanciales para establecer y desarrollar un ministerio de distribución de Biblias y de sana literatura cristiana.

La Palabra de Dios escrita tendrá el primer lugar de importancia en nuestros esfuerzos de distribución. Haremos todo lo posible para ofrecer traducciones fidedignas de la Biblia, a fin de que los hombres puedan oír la palabra de Dios hablándoles directamente por medio de las Santas Escrituras (Romanos 10:17).

Ofrecemos para nuestros miembros como para otras personas en varios lugares del mundo, algunos de los mejores escritos de pastores y maestros del pasado y del presente, dones de Cristo (Efesios 4:11-16) que nos ayudan a digerir y asimilar (i.e., entender y aplicar) tanto la leche (1 Pedro 2:2) como la comida sólida (1ª a los Corintios 3:1-2; Hebreos 5:11-6:1a) de la Palabra de Dios.

Uno de los libros que aparece en esta página nos recuerda que:

Job profesó haber atesorado las palabras de la boca de Dios más que su comida (Job 23:12).

Jesucristo valoró las palabras de la boca de Dios más que Su comida, aún en un tiempo de hambre muy intensa. Él puso Su sello de aprobación sobre esta misma perspectiva al citar el Antiguo Testamento que dice (Mateo 4:4), “No sólo de pan vivirá el hombre, sino de toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios.”

La comida es esencial para la vida; pero Jesucristo enseñó que la comida en sí misma es insuficiente para sostener la vida humana. La Palabra de Dios es indispensable y vital  para todo ser humano.

Con estas perspectivas en mente, nos urge promover los mejores libros, los que son repletos de enseñanza, reprensión, corrección, e instrucción en justicia contenidas en la Palabra de Dios (2ª a Timoteo 3:15-17).

This website is a ministry of a Baptist church in North Bergen, NJ, "La Iglesia Bautista de North Bergen, NJ." We are committed, as a matter of conscience, to the highest standards of truth and accuracy in the books we carry. This commitment grows out of a deep conviction that the church is called to be "the pillar and ground of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15). In seeking to carry out this purpose, by the grace and help of God, the following four principles direct our operation, priorities and long-range direction:

The Word of God Written shall have the foremost place of importance in our distribution efforts. We will endeavor to make reliable Bible translations readily available, in order that men may hear the very word of God spoken to them directly through His Holy Word (Romans 10:17).

We will strive to introduce solid, biblical literature wherever the Lord gives us opportunity, that men and women may be converted from the darkness of sin; that young or poorly instructed Christians may be nurtured in the faith (1 Peter 2:2); that mature saints may be increasingly well-grounded in the faith (Ephesians 4:14-15); that pastors and teachers may be better equipped to rightly handle the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15); and that God may be glorified by the presence of well-ordered churches in every land (Ephesians 3:21).

Although we seek to live peaceably with all men (Romans 12:18), it is also our duty to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even to reprove them (Ephesians 5:11). Accordingly, literature will be promoted which seeks to refute doctrinal and practical error in our day, and which seeks to protect the vigor and purity of the church of Christ from false teachings of men and the attacks of Satan.

We will seek to preserve the heritage of Christian writings which Christ has given to His church through past generations as these are reflected in the works of the Reformers, Puritans and others of the Reformed faith. We shall hold these writings as a trust given to the church of Christ and shall seek their wide distribution, with the earnest hope and prayer that they will be treasured and used by the generations which follow us.
